Educational visits over several days
In Hergnies Vieux-Condé, professional guides from the Amaury centre specialising in nature and the environment host schoolchildren and leisure centre groups.
By the edge of a pond at a former mining area and on a departmental ‘sensitive nature site’, Amaury Environmental Education Centre specialises in hosting visits to the heart of nature for school children from nursery to high school age, as well as for holiday and leisure centre groups. After discussing the project with educational coordinators, the Centre offers a programme adapted to the teaching objectives, age bracket and length of stay. The children’s groups and those in charge of them are accommodated on a full-board basis, or offered organised events on a single or multi-day basis.
The Amaury Centre also organises a monthly supervised nature outing for the general public.
